Working with Two People
Many people think of this kind of support as couples work, but I use the phrase “working with two people” because relationships come in many forms. You might be partners in a romantic or sexual relationship, co-parents, close friends, or queerplatonic partners. Whoever you are, your connection matters.
A common reason people come to me is to improve communication. Even with the best intentions, it’s easy to talk past each other, and having a supportive professional can help you slow down, listen differently, and feel heard.
I also work with people exploring non-monogamous or relationship-anarchist structures. These relationships often bring incredible freedom, but also challenges that mainstream society doesn’t always prepare us for. Together, we can create a space to navigate boundaries, desires, and needs in a way that supports everyone involved.
